Australian Consumer Law prohibits misleading claims, and the ACCC has published guidance on environmental claims, so words like "natural", "biodegradable" or "plastic-free" must be accurate and supportable. Several states are phasing out single-use plastics, and some have signalled that small hotel toiletry bottles may be included; check current South Australian and Tasmanian rules.

• Your importer, as introducer, generally must register with AICIS and categorise the introduction; we supply full INCI lists and composition information.
• The mandatory cosmetics ingredient labelling standard requires INCI names, generally in descending order. Whether complimentary amenities are exempt is not clear-cut, so check.
