Hotel Amenities · India

In short

Harrods Health makes private-label toiletries and spa massage oils for Rajasthan's heritage palace hotels, havelis, desert camps and city hotels in Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur and beyond. We formulate for dry heat and dust, design packaging that suits a heritage setting, and deliver by road from Ambala, Haryana, in north India.

This page covers Rajasthan. For national supply, see the India hotel amenities hub; for the full service, see hotel toiletries.

Heritage hotels and much more

Rajasthan's best-known properties are converted palaces, forts and havelis, many still run by the families who own them or by management companies on their behalf. Around them sit luxury resorts, lakeside hotels in Udaipur, desert camps near Jaisalmer and the Thar, wildlife lodges, business and wedding hotels in Jaipur, and midscale and budget hotels serving road travellers. Destination weddings fill entire properties for several days at a time.

Property type Common formats Points to brief
Palace and fort hotels Decorated minis or premium tubes Packaging that suits period interiors
Havelis and boutique stays Signature-scent minis A local scent story
Desert camps Dispensers or sachets, rich body lotion Dry air, dust, limited storage
Wedding and business hotels Dispensers and 5 L refills Large group arrivals
Hotel spas Massage oils in bulk packs Traditional treatments

Formulas for dry heat

Summers are intensely hot and the desert air is dry and dusty, while winter nights can be cold. Guests notice dry skin and hair. A richer body lotion, a conditioning shampoo or separate conditioner, and a shower gel that does not feel stripping make a difference. For desert camps, where water and storage are limited, dispensers or sachets avoid half-used bottles. Products should be stored away from direct sun and heat in camp stores and vehicles.

Scent stories rooted in place

Heritage hotels often want a scent that feels local. Rose, sandalwood, vetiver (khus), saffron-like warm notes, jasmine and spice accords are popular briefs. We can develop a signature scent used across rooms, spa and public areas; our guide to building a spa and resort amenity range covers how. Describe these ingredients in terms of aroma and sensation. Avoid presenting a cosmetic as an Ayurvedic remedy or making health claims about it.

Spa and massage oils

Many palace and resort hotels run spas offering traditional massages. We manufacture spa massage oils and hold an AYUSH licence for Ayurvedic manufacturing; see our massage oil manufacturing page. Whether an oil is supplied as a cosmetic or as an Ayurvedic product affects its label and the claims it may carry, so we agree that at the brief stage.

Packaging for heritage interiors

A plain white bottle can look out of place in a palace suite. We manufacture and decorate packaging in-house, printing crests, monograms and traditional motifs on bottles, tubes and cartons; see custom packaging. Dispensers can be finished to sit comfortably in heritage bathrooms if you are reducing miniatures. Cartons and outer cases can carry the same artwork, which helps when amenities are placed in welcome trays.

Road delivery from north India

Rajasthan is within reach of Ambala by road, so heritage hotels and camps can plan regular deliveries ahead of the cool-season peak and the wedding calendar. Consignments carry a GST invoice and an e-way bill where required, with no import duty. Refills from our bulk packs range suit wedding hotels. Groups with properties in the capital can align with our Delhi NCR page.

Owners, families and management companies

Many heritage properties are owned by families who are closely involved in every detail, from the crest on a bottle to the scent in the corridor. Others are run by management companies that operate several palaces and resorts under a common standard. We work with both: an owner can approve a bespoke range for a single property, and a management company can approve one specification with per-property artwork. Samples, ingredient lists and manufacturing documentation are available for each product, and formulas can be supplied as dermatologically tested with test reports on request.

Compliance basics

Labels follow the Cosmetics Rules, 2020. For complimentary amenities, confirm how Legal Metrology declarations apply before finalising artwork. Our licences and certificates are listed on quality and certifications.

Hotel Toiletries for Rajasthan Heritage Hotels FAQ

Q.Can you create a rose or sandalwood signature scent?

Yes. Rose, sandalwood, vetiver and warm spice accords are common heritage briefs. We develop and match signature scents across your range.

Q.What suits desert camps?

Dispensers or sachets, a rich body lotion and products stored away from direct heat. They avoid half-used bottles and save storage space.

Q.Can our toiletries be labelled Ayurvedic?

Toiletries are normally made as cosmetics. An Ayurvedic product has a different licence and labelling route, so we decide which applies at the brief stage and avoid medical claims either way.

Q.Do you print palace crests and monograms?

Yes. We manufacture and decorate packaging in-house and print crests, monograms and motifs on bottles, tubes and cartons.

Q.Can you handle destination-wedding volumes?

Yes. Dispensers and 5 L refills suit full-property weddings. Tell us the calendar and we plan production and delivery around it.
