Three property types, three amenity plans

Nairobi business hotels

Business hotels in Nairobi host conference guests, NGO teams and regional travellers on short stays. Branded minis or neat wall dispensers in a consistent signature scent tend to fit. Dispensers with 5 L refills cut restocking time on busy floors.

Safari lodges and tented camps

Lodges in conservancies and parks have limited storage, long supply runs and a strong focus on waste. Refillable dispensers, 5 L refills and gentle, low-fragrance formulas are a common choice. Fewer, larger deliveries make sense when a road trip to restock takes a day.

Coastal resorts

Resorts around Mombasa, Diani, Watamu and Lamu deal with heat, humidity and sun. Guests use more body lotion and expect fresh, tropical scents. Premium minis or tubes, plus spa massage oils for resort spas, are typical.

Import basics for Kenya

The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS) runs a pre-export verification of conformity programme, often called PVoC, for many imported goods. Under it, shipments are typically inspected and certified before they leave the exporting country. Your importer will normally arrange this with an appointed verification agent, and we provide the product documentation and test reports they ask for.

Labels in English are standard. Ask your importer what must appear on pack, such as ingredients, net quantity, batch number and manufacturer details. Rules change, so confirm current requirements with your importer or a local regulatory consultant before you place an order.

Single-use plastics and parks

Kenya restricts certain single-use plastics in protected areas such as national parks, forests and beaches. For lodges and beach properties this is a good reason to look at refillable dispensers and 5 L refills instead of single-use minis. We can advise on formats, but your importer or a local consultant should confirm what is permitted at your site.

Halal and coastal guests

The Kenyan coast has a long Muslim heritage, and many resorts there welcome guests from the Gulf. Our facility is Halal certified, which some properties find useful when choosing formulas and documentation.

Built for Kenyan conditions

Coastal heat and humidity, and warm storerooms at upcountry lodges, are hard on toiletries. We discuss viscosity, fragrance and closures with you so products hold up between the port and the bathroom. Keep stock in a shaded, ventilated store once it arrives.

Shipping to Kenya

Orders usually travel by sea freight from India to the port of Mombasa, then by road or rail inland to Nairobi and beyond. Your forwarder handles clearance in Kenya; we handle manufacturing, export packing and documents. More on our export and fulfilment page.

4. You approve artwork with your hotel branding.
5. We produce, pack and hand over to your forwarder.
